This is our first rescue, and I can honestly say that Angels with me.org were wonderful! We went through a rigorous adoption application and I did a phone interview with Karina. I love the fact that were so thorough and that made me feel so much better about the process! Karina is such an angel herself! this organization is one of the greatest voices for the voiceless! I wish that instead of buying a pet, that people would take a look around and see the suffering of those homeless and abused dogs and cats and adopt! I see and have experienced the devotion, love and compassion Angels with me.org have for the innocent and voiceless and I will not buy another pet, I will adopt! I see how these angels adapt and return the love that they have been given. When we first got Tinkerbell she was so skittish, would hide and if she heard loud noises she would run down stairs where it was dark. She would cower when you went to pet her. You should see her now! She is the first one of our girls that meets us at the door! She will let us cuddle her, and will even sleeps with us! She has become one of the family! We are so glad that we found Angels with me, they gave us such a gift!

I am so incredibly grateful for this rescue that Karina has poured her heart into. I was struggling with finding the perfect dog for my family and me. I searched and searched online but no one would ever get back to me. When I came across Popeye (the poodle I adopted) I fell in love instantly. I had lots of hope of finally finding the perfect fur baby. I was praying Karina would reply to my email and GOD listen. I quickly got a reply and we set up a meet and greet. Karina was so friendly and easy going, so much so, that my family and I trusted her immediately and believed in her rescue. She listened when we expressed to her our concerns and wishes with having a family pet. She worked around with my schedule and kept communication with me. Although Karina was very professional, my family and I saw her as part of our family and not some stranger we had just met. It was a pleasure working with Karina and her rescue. I would like to say THANK YOU to Karina for bringing Oliver into our family. He is such a blessing in our lives and has touched the hearts of each person in our family. He is a loving little chihuahua/terrier mix. We adopted him at 3 months old and Karina has kept in touch with us to ensure Oliver is good and up to date on his shots and will be neutered soon by an Angels With Me affiliated vet. Angie’s with me, helped me find our cute Pomeranian Yeti. My husband has had 2 poms and wanted one for our family. After patiently waiting Karina contacted me about this cute Pom who was serrendred. We immediately started the process and adopted Yeti. Even tho he was abused and neglected and adjusted and fit in well. Yeti has 3 human siblings and two doggies siblings. Thank you Karina 🙂

Angels with me helped my family and I receive a great first rescue experience. Through the many questions I had, the staff was nice enough to respond daily in order to make this decision the right one. I first heard of this rescue from.a woman on the street who helped me help a homeless dog.. months later , i found kittens with the momma abandoned in an empty lot/house ,went to feed them and called this rescue spoke to karina and said she can help the little family. Im so thankful because these homeless cats went to a foster and soon to find their forever homes instead of being out cold and hungry. When i met karina she was super friendly and caring towards me and the kittens. She is very dedicated that being she had an hour drive to get to me .in the process of helping 2 cats also i love this rescue.

He seems to be in a running battle with the squirrels in the trees! He enjoys his walks around the neighborhood and he never turns down a treat! He and his fur-brother Big Ted get along wonderfully.

Thank you Karina for answering the call; the call to rescue animals as your life’s passion and my call one late July 2020 afternoon to help re-home my beloved 13-year-old poodles, Duke and Daisy. Making the decision to surrender my dogs for personal reasons was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. The process to find help was very mind opening in many ways. Several dog rescue agencies claim to care deeply for senior or disabled dogs but those same agencies never gave me the time of day or answered my emails. I was at the end of my road when I found Angels With Me and left a message for Karina who called me back the same day. I’m sure she could hear the frustration in my voice but her reassuring voice and text messages since then have helped to put me at ease. Duke and Daisy were a part of my family for more than 13 years and helped to raise many of our small children by being loving and gentle playful companions. With Karina’s help, Duke and Daisy will continue to provide a source of comfort to another family in need of emotional support and unconditional love in these challenging times.
I have been helping with this rescue for the past 2 years and I have been in contact with Karina. I help with fostering dogs and cats. I fostered two dogs from AWM and Karina Macias. We ended up adopting both! We love our little guys so much and I know we never would have even found them had Karina not identified and rescued them.
Karina is hands down the kindest, most professional animal rescue person I’ve ever met. Me and my daughter found a sweet dog out at the park we just couldn’t leave her there so we decided to look for help after making several calls and asking around looking for the owner with no luck someone referred me to AWM I called Karina and right away she replied and within a few hours she found a foster for the sweet girl.
What this rescue does is amazing words can express how grateful I am we found you Karina didn’t just help us found a foster for that sweet girl you’ve also help me teach my daughter that there is always good people out there willing to go above and beyond.
Whatever I say here can’t begin to describe the gratitude we have for Karina and her agency Angels With Me. We just rescued Teddy (formerly Lehman), a true godsend for our household, the perfect German Shepherd companion to our other two furbabies. Karina was truly professional and so very helpful in taking us through the process. This is our third rescue, and hands down working with Karina was by far the most pleasant. It’s very obvious she puts the well being of her dogs as her highest priority, and sacrifices so much of herself to do it. I definitely recommend AWM over all other agencies that I know. Karina, our family including our new addition is all smiles. Thank you so so very much, from the bottom of our hearts!
Karina has made our dog adoption process a great experience! I admire her work ethic and I see how hard she works both with rescuing dogs and having her career. You can tell she really cares about finding the best homes for the dogs she rescues, which from talking to her, she rescues a lot! I found the listing for our new dog Sky on PetFinder, and once I applied, Karina got back to me the same day, which is very refreshing! Sometimes agencies will take days or weeks to even respond and we found that most of the time the dogs would be adopted by the time we heard back. She organized us to meet Sky and her foster at a local park, and her foster was so nice! We really connected and I like to think thats part of the reason Karina chose us to adopt Sky. Karina ensured Sky had her vaccinations before giving her to us (she was a younger pup), and sent us home with her, her papers, and a few other supplies that would help get us started. All in all, we are so happy with our healthy, happy dog, and if we ever choose to adopt another we will definitely be in touch with Karina and AngelsWithMe!
Even though we have yet to meet Karina, we would adopt through AWM again and again and again. Karina truly cares about the fur babies in her care – an absolute labor of love. We inquired about our sweet Rosie (formerly named Veda) by submitting an application, and heard back within the hour. Karina took Rosie in from a previous owner who had to give her up, and sent her directly to Isaac (Pawsitive Dawg Training) because she knew that Rosie needed a little work before she could be fostered/adopted. Karina was so accommodating to our desire to meet Rosie that she set up a meet and greet for us with Isaac. This was amazing because we were able to chat with him about what he had been working on so that we could continue the work (as well as watch his instagram videos!). Both Karina and Isaac are tremendously patient, and were available via text for the questions that came up in that first week. Also, Karina worked very hard to make sure I had all the documents I needed for Rosie, graciously communicating between myself and her previous owner regarding her vaccination status. She also offered to pay to get her up to date with her vaccinations which I consider to be over and above, especially since she paid for 3 weeks of training! Karina is one of a kind – the absolute best. Hands (and paws) down. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Karina was very good at replying to me and after searching for months let me surrender my chihuahua to her rescue group. She found a foster for him. I was glad she replied to me at all as I was having no luck with the rescue groups in Ridgecrest. She has gone out of her way for my chihuahua Ace to help find him a forever home. After multiple strokes I could no longer take care of him very wel. Thank you so much Karina for giving him a chance with a new family!
I recently adopted my baby Leo (previously named Atlas) through AWM Rescue. Leo has been one of the best things to happen to my little family in a long time. The process of his adoption was wonderful and smooth, and he wouldn’t be here today without Jennifer’s expertise, hard work and an obvious love and passion for the Rescue’s mission. Not only did she help me with the process, it comforted me to know just how in tune and how well she knows her animals she is trying to get adopted into their forever homes. Everything she informed me about Leo before he even came home I am learning is spot on. Leo has definitely found his place here in his forever home and has found his place in my heart. I love him very much and I can’t thank Jennifer and Angels With Me Rescue for bringing Leo and I together. I will always be grateful, and I would encourage anyone thinking about fostering or adopting, to not hesitate to put your trust in this Rescue and the wonderful people behind it… for ultimately giving another beautiful dog a place to call home.
Honestly, Angels With Me could not be named better. In one of our darkest hours, Karina came through for us at the very last minute with a foster for our dog. We’ve never met her. She had never met our dog. She stepped in just out of the goodness of her heart and now our beloved Cleo has another chance at finding a forever home. Angels with Me Rescue guided us every step of the way on our pet adoption journey. Karina made sure we found the right fit for our family in the form of the cute and dorky, happy and healthy Pitbull terrier mix named Oreo (whom we now call Luna) and we can’t thank her enough for the introduction. Karina always answers our questions promptly, checks in with us periodically, and really makes sure our new pup has everything she needs to thrive in her new forever home. The same can be said of their awesome fosters! You can tell they really care about all the pets in their rescue by how tirelessly they work towards the wellbeing of these animals day-in and day-out. This was my first time fostering a dog, and Karina & Ledy were so great with everything. From taking the foster dog to the vet/groomer to providing food and bedding for her. I immediately fell in love with the foster dog and Karina helped so much with the adoption. Gigi(the foster dog) needed surgery and Karina was able to get her her surgery scheduled and done quickly. I am so grateful for their help and cant wait to foster another pet in the future. Angels with Me cares so much about these animals that it was hard to not immediately foster another right away. I am so thankful for them and their help. ❤

Karina was very good at replying to me and after searching for months let me surrender my chihuahua to her rescue group. She found a foster for him. I was glad she replied to me at all as I was having no luck with the rescue groups in Ridgecrest. She has gone out of her way for my chihuahua Ace to help find him a forever home. After multiple strokes I could no longer take care of him very wel. Thank you so much Karina for giving him a chance with a new family!

I recently adopted my baby Leo (previously named Atlas) through AWM Rescue. Leo has been one of the best things to happen to my little family in a long time. The process of his adoption was wonderful and smooth, and he wouldn’t be here today without Jennifer’s expertise, hard work and an obvious love and passion for the Rescue’s mission. Not only did she help me with the process, it comforted me to know just how in tune and how well she knows her animals she is trying to get adopted into their forever homes. Everything she informed me about Leo before he even came home I am learning is spot on. Leo has definitely found his place here in his forever home and has found his place in my heart. I love him very much and I can’t thank Jennifer and Angels With Me Rescue for bringing Leo and I together. I will always be grateful, and I would encourage anyone thinking about fostering or adopting, to not hesitate to put your trust in this Rescue and the wonderful people behind it… for ultimately giving another beautiful dog a place to call home.

Honestly, Angels With Me could not be named better. In one of our darkest hours, Karina came through for us at the very last minute with a foster for our dog. We’ve never met her. She had never met our dog. She stepped in just out of the goodness of her heart and now our beloved Cleo has another chance at finding a forever home. We are so grateful to her for generosity and so thankful that a rescue group like AWM exists. Thank you, Karina, for giving hope to a senior dog who needed a new home. You’re an angel.

Angels with Me Rescue guided us every step of the way on our pet adoption journey. Karina made sure we found the right fit for our family in the form of the cute and dorky, happy and healthy Pitbull terrier mix named Oreo (whom we now call Luna) and we can’t thank her enough for the introduction. Karina always answers our questions promptly, checks in with us periodically, and really makes sure our new pup has everything she needs to thrive in her new forever home. The same can be said of their awesome fosters! You can tell they really care about all the pets in their rescue by how tirelessly they work towards the wellbeing of these animals day-in and day-out. The adoption process was quick and straightforward with Angels with Me Rescue and I wholeheartedly recommend adopting with them!

This was my first time fostering a dog, and Karina & Ledy were so great with everything. From taking the foster dog to the vet/groomer to providing food and bedding for her. I immediately fell in love with the foster dog and Karina helped so much with the adoption. Gigi(the foster dog) needed surgery and Karina was able to get her her surgery scheduled and done quickly. I am so grateful for their help and cant wait to foster another pet in the future. Angels with Me cares so much about these animals that it was hard to not immediately foster another right away. I am so thankful for them and their help. ❤
